At pool village as your swimming pool contractor, we will help you choose the best location for your swimming pool considering factors such as sunlight exposure, drainage, and accessibility. We use the latest software to design your swimming pool and the entire landscaping in your backyard. You get to have a feel of what the project will look like before construction has begun. This gives you the opportunity to fully customize your backyard to suit your needs. Our design and construction services are reasonably priced, you get more value in comparison to the dent in your pocket

From the software we are also able to obtain technical drawings for the projects which we will use to get permits and approvals by relevant authorities. The technical drawings are also used by our construction team during constructions. We pay attention to all details to eliminate surprises that may arise during construction.

Here are some of the stages that will follow after the client has approved the design

Excavation: Excavate the area for the pool, making sure to remove any rocks, roots. Depending on size and accessibility we prefer use of mechanical excavators, however sometimes we use manual methods due to the above-mentioned limitations.

Pool shell installation: There are 3 types of pool shells namely fibre glass, vinyl and concrete. We install concrete shells which are steel reinforced due to the unavailability of the technology for the other two locally. We then add a Pool Plaster to a dd a rigid liner base to protect the swimming pool.

Plumbing and electrical work: Install plumbing and electrical systems for the pool, including pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting. At Pool Village we are the leading supplier of filtration systems, heating and lighting equipment

Tile and coping: Add tile and coping around the edge of the pool to create a finished look and provide a non-slip surface. In some instances we use pavers or stamped concrete depending with the client’s choice

Decking: Install decking around the pool area to provide space for lounging, entertaining, and access to the pool. However this is optional as the client can choose either pavers, stamped concrete or grass

Landscaping: Add landscaping features such as plants, trees, and shrubs to enhance the overall aesthetic of the pool area. The landscaping design will also be covered in our drawings for the project

Final touches: Finish up with any final touches such as filling the pool with water, adding chemical treatments, and installing safety features such as fencing or alarms. We supply safety nets, pool covers, pool fencing and solar blankets in the case of heated pools. It is also at the stage that the customer purchases cleaning equipment.
